Fast-paced busy Marina Yacht Club is looking for a Full-time year-round Yard Helper/Boat Detailer. Duties include hauling and launching of boats. Experience in forklift, travel lift, yard trailer, and mechanical knowledge is a plus.
Must have a positive attitude, desire to learn and advance, and be punctual and responsible. Great working environment.

A valid NJ driver's license with a clean record is a must.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Haul, block, and launch boats
Perform general boat maintenance and service work including, but not limited to waxing, bottom painting, and zinc replacement
Work closely with fellow staff members as needed
Operate yard machinery including Travelift, hydraulic trailer, forklift, power washer, etc.
Grounds maintenance and marina cleanliness
Availability to work overtime when required
Carry out additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
Move boats to Boat Shows and help set-up
Perform routine housecleaning in dealership areas as directed
Attend training meetings as required
Make sure all equipment is fueled up and in good safe working order
Do light maintenance, repair, and mechanical work

Technical and Physical Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous marina experience preferred
Heavy forklift experience is a plus
Ability to ascend and descend a ladder
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Basic boat handling skills are a plus
